To all of Conch-L:

Greetings. This posting is especially for all turrid fans out
there (courtesy of Daniel Geiger). If there are questions ... please
direct them to Dan at [log in to unmask] and not to the list (Dan
is not a subscriber).

Aloha,

Lindsey

*******************************************

I am pleased to announce the impending publication of the Catalog of
Turridae by John Tucker. Turridae is one of the most diverse marine
gastropod families with literally thousands of species yet
undescribed. A crucial step towards making work on this family
possible is an inventory of all described species, both Recent as
well as fossil. This work is the culmination of 30 years of
painstaking attention to detail by the author.

To make the work more widely available, it can be pre-ordered at a
strong pre-publication discount as detailed below. I also want to
take the opportunity to congratulate John on his major achievement
and service to the systematic community. [Apologies for cross
postings]
