To Ken, Paul, Ross & Giancarlo,
You have, as usual, made this identifying of a mislabeled shell a
mystifying experience. Conus canactinisticus is truly close to Conus
caracteristicus, except when it is 11:00 p.m. and the script is clearly in
block letters printing. My friend, who gave me the shell to identify, is
now thinking of joining the group, after seeing the 4 responses that we
received.
Thank you so much for helping to add a new member to this group.
