Hey Phyllis.

I really didn't mean to correct anyone.  I just responded with the name I
know, because I was also curious about the attached sponge or bryozoan or
whatever.  Frankly, I did not notice use of X pallida instead of X
pallidula.  Such errors slip in all the time, thus the Compendium has
Neritina puncticulata Lamarck, 1816 instead of the original spelling by
Lamarck as punctulata.

I have been a Xenophora fan for a long time and finally getting the chance
to obtain X lamberti at this last COA convention was a real treat.  And it
was all because Doris Underwood knew I was interested and let me know the
folks from new Caledonia had some specimens.  Now I just have to wait for
that Hawaiian endemic to show up.
