Yes 2008 is the target date for the next edition.
They are also working on a live version on-line.

I believe they may still have some of the 1998 2nd editions left on CD.
It was very helpful allowing me to cut-n-paste names for my Unionid labels.

Just a warning when you install the CD...  It will install Acrobat 3.06 whether
you want it to or not.  So first copy it to your hard drive and a then copy it
back to CD with the Adobe folder deleted.  This will save a lot of heartache.
