Marcus,  In naming shells the same species name in the same Family is taking
a chance unless you are sure the two species are definitely in different
Genus with no chance it will change.  But it's done all the time.  I don't
think the shell you have is Prunum prunum, because it doesn't come from
there, it comes from Venezuela, and the anal canal is not right. but it's
not monicae.
