Peggy, did you get fossil specimens in the Bahamas?

I think this species deserves further studies....

Thanks

Marcus

Trigoniocardia columba (Heilprin, 1886), named as a fossil, has a sharper angle from umbone to edge.
I have it from the Bahamas. Looks like some of your orange colored specimens.

I always had some doubts about Americardia media - is there any other species related to it from
Western Atlantic?

See these images (I apologize for posting a link to my website, but I have here several pictures of
specimens coming from different places)

Any suggestions?

Thanks
