I always have tried to convince local magazines to publish a nice article about shells - I even have
contacted the editor of our local National Geographic Magazine, without success.

A couple months ago the editor of a Brazilian magazine, Horizonte Geografico, contacted me. They
wanted to publish an article about shells!

I showed the editor a copy of National Geographic (March 1969) and she was very impressed. Of course
I did not have the space or the freedom to write myself the text, but it was a good opportunity
anyway.

I have the magazine digitized here - in Portuguese, and this is not the final version since I had to
make some corrections:

Now I hope to attract the attention of some potential new collectors!

Marcus
