Dear CONCHL'ers,

I know that there have already been a lot of questions on Florida and Sanibel,
however, hope these questions are a little bit different. I will be in Florida
from 14 March to 4 April and I would also do some shelling. First destination
will be Sanibel Island and I got already a lot of information on shelling there
from Conch L. One question, does anybody know whether there is any beach
refurbishment qoing on?

I read something about the possibility to find fossilised shark teeth by the
hunderds on Casperson beach around Sarasota. Is this really the case?

I also read that there is a fossil pit around Sarasaoto which is open on
Saterday. Is this still the case?

Furthermore it is my intention to go North to the Panhandle and the Atlantic
Coast around St. Augustine. Are there also any good shelling sites around there?

Thanks for your comments,

Regards,
