I wish I had Tom's faith in DNA analysis; the results to which I have been
allowed access are confusing and contradictory at best (in the
Pleurotomariidae). There remains the problem of interpretation, and if
anyone is waiting for DNA analysis to show us the whole picture of
evolution, I would advise them not to hold their breath.
