Rosesea,
 
I was under the impression that these were more of a deeper - water species,
somebody here correct me if I'm wrong. I have never found one, but someone
told me they found one attached to a seawall in the keys. It secreted purple
dye all over the place.
 
Maybe they are "common" in deeper water.
