I'm just getting back on the list after a fine collecting vacation in
Fl & the Bahamas. While away, I bought a book by Harlan Wittkopf -
"The Sanibel Kaleidoscope - A view of seashell variations in color,
pattern, and structure. There is an address given of the publisher:
" Shell Island Resources, Inc.
216 Robinson Drive
Algona, Iowa 50511"

Very interesting book. Lists conus spurious aureofasciatus as the
rarest species ever found on Sanible.

Hope this helps -
Karen VV
