Thanks to Nancy Smith for bringing this up. One thing that I would like to
see generally improved on Conch-L is the subject line. A question can be
very interesting, but hard to locate in the Conch-L Archive if the subject
is "Help!" or "Question for Conch-L". If the question is about (for
example) how to wash the little rotten bits out of shells, then why not say
so? "Washing shells" or "Washing those nasty bits out of shells" is a lot
more informative than yet another "Question".

I've tried changing subject lines with varying success ("Washing
shells--was Question"), but I don't like doing that, because it breaks the
thread, which isn't good for the Archive. But if you run a search on Alta
Vista for +Conch-L +Neritina, it should find all the archived messages on
Neritina regardless.

As to your other questions and comments, Nancy, others will soon come forth
to answer them. I'm glad to see that Conch-L is getting back on track
again.
