THERE ARE NO GOOD REFERENCES ON NERITES, PARTICULARLY THE FRESHWATER
SPECIES. YOU HAVE TO GO WAY BACK. MARTINI AND CHEMNITZ, REEVE, ETC.
TRYON'S MANUAL OF CONCHOLOGY HAS A PRETTY GOOD TREATMENT ALTHOUGH THERE ARE
PROBLEMS. HENK MEINIS OF ISRAEL IS THE BEST PERSON AROUND FOR THE GROUP.
I DON'T HAVE AN E-MAIL FOR HIM, BUT CAN DIG OUT A REGULAR ADDRESS IF YOU
NEED/WANT IT. CERNOHORSKY'S WESTERN PACIFIC BOOKS ARE ADEQUATE BUT AGAIN A
FEW PROBLEMS. MANY YEARS AGO I DID A COMPLETE ZOO RECORD SEARCH (BY HAND
BACK THEN, NO CDS) AND HAVE THE GROUP PARTIALLY DONE IN MS ACCESS. I HAVE
A LOT OF THE REFERENCES, BUT NOT NEARLY ENOUGH TO DO ANYTHING SUBSTANTIAL.
GOOD LUCK. CALL ON ME IF YOU WANT TO.
