I've had quite a few Oliva sayana in my aquarium over the years.  Mine,
as I have said before, liked raw fish.  I had one small olive that a
small crab kept trying to grab its mantle.  Well, the mantle must have
been damaged, because instead of growing larger by adding on to the lip,
it kept adding in the same area making the shell thicker and thicker.
It almost looked like a Phalium.  It was really distorted.  It died
after a few years, and while showing it to a collector one day he
offered $20.00 for it, but I declined.  When I put it in the aquarium
years ago it was worth .50 and when I took it out it was worth $20.00???
Who can figure.  I had a lot of enjoyment watching and recording the
happenings of many species of shells.  Sorry I haven't shared it with
many people. Didn't think they were interested.  I soon learned who
would eat whom.
