An occasional albino can occur in almost any species. However, not all white
shells are albinos. If the species normally ranges from orange to light
yellow, then a white one might simply represent the end of the pigmentation
bell curve, rather than a true albino, while a dark orange one might represent
the other extreme of the normal range.
