Falling asleep at the switch here, and pressed the button prematurely there!!

Avril Bourquin (inventer of Man and Mollusc) wants to know what two strange
little cowries she found in Hawaii are: http://www.geocities.com/conchlimages/AvrilBourquin.html.

Apropos of all the talk about non-cowrie melanism, i posted an image of a
melanistic Conus generalis from the Worldwide capital of Melanism, New
Caladonia: http://www.geocities.com/conchlimages/Mayhew.html.

Pete Stimpson sent in a GREAT pic of his Conus thalassiarchus collection - it is
a long download, but if you have a fast connection or a bit of time, quite worth
the trip!! : http://www.geocities.com/conchlimages/Stimpson.html .

Once again, sorry i lost the password to the Conch-l images site: if anyone
wants to post an image or two but doesn't have a site to do it with, just send
them to my regular email, and once i get caught up a bit (i'm 12 packages and a
whole slough of families behind!!), i'll make you up a page, or else add to it!!

From the land of the colorful leaves (started last week! - Autumn is falling
HARD here!!!),
Ross.
