Dear All
I need some help identifying a Columbarium – I think – that was trawled
off the Mozambique coast, I have a scan available should anybody like to
see it. Unfortunately I don’t have the means to publish it for everybody
to see, but I will be glad to forward it to anybody interested. You can
request a scan at [log in to unmask] .
The detail is as follows:
Predominant sculpture: Spiral
Spiral sculpture dorsal slope: 3 strong cords
Spiral sculpture ventral slope: Obsolete
Profile of whorl: Flat, shell
conical
Axial sculpture dorsal slope: None
Axial sculpture ventral slope: None
Number of axials: 0
Position of periphery: At bottom of whorl
Shape of peripheral projections: 14 small rounded lobes
Suture: Straight
Any help would be appreciated.
