Dear Doug,

the Schilder reference obviously is a bit dated. The most recent update of
locality information on this species can be found in

"Panamic Province molluscan literature: Additons and changes from 1971
through 2001. III. Gastropoda"
by Carol Skoglund,
published in 2002 as a Supplement to Vol. 33 of "The Festivus" (this is why
I recommended "The Festivus" for your planned paper).
This publication by Carol Skoglund updates the locality information given by
Myra Keen in her 1971 classic "Seashells of Tropical West America" (2nd
ed.).

Carol Skoglund states for Zonaria (Zonaria) annettae (Dall, 1909):
"Extend distribution to the west coast of Baja California as far north as
Laguna de San Ignacio, Baja California Sur, Mexico (Burgess, 1985).
.....Include Rocas Alijos, Mexico, in distribution. Depth: 50 m (Mc Lean &
Coan, 1996)".

She further states for Zonaria (Zonaria) aequinoctialis Schilder, 1933,
which she considers a valid species, not merely a subspecies of Z.(Z.)
annettae, following Bradner, 1985:
"Extend distribution north to Nicaragua (Lopez & Montoya, 1985).......
Include Isla del Malpelo, Colombia, in distribution (Kaiser & Bryce, 2001).

Hope this info is helpful.

Michael
