Am sure the European MAPS-Lers will have far better
information than the following - but just in case:
I have a vague memory that the secretariat of the
group was fairly recently at the FRench Institut
geographique national.  Perhaps it's like the
US Association of State Geologists, where the
secretariat is handed around?
