I am a grad student working on a Master's in the mapping sciences at
the State University of New York Environmental Science and Forestry in
Syracuse.  I am using GIS to target land for easement or aquisition
protection.  I have not found much on this GIS application.  Can anybody
direct me to some good articles on this subject.
Specifically I'm looking at the Skaneateles Lake watershed, the main
source of Syracuse's drinking water.
