There is a "Listserv Reference Card" that describes the various commands
recognized by the listserv software. You should ask your local computer site
for a file called "listserv refcard" If your local site does not have the
file you may be able to get it from Georgia by sending a message to:
     [log in to unmask]
The message should say: get listserv refcard

Among the commands cited in the Listserv Reference Card are several that
will get you information about lists. These lists are raw computer compiled
and unedited lists. The great subscriber list that Chris Baruth produced
required editing.

You can get computer lists of the Maps-L subscribers (except for the
subscribers concealed by the system and by group subscriptions). The raw data
can be sorted several ways, such as names, countries, computer hosts, and
userids. To get a list send a message to: [log in to unmask]

To get a list sorted by subscriber last name the message should say:
                          REVIEW Maps-L BY Name

To get a list sorted by country of origin the message should say:
                          REVIEW Maps-L BY Country

To get a list sorted by host computer name the message should say:
                          REVIEW Maps-L BY NODEid

To get a list sorted by userid the message should say:
                          REVIEW Maps-L BY Userid

You will get a list sorted by userid if you send the message:
                          Review Maps-L
