Dear All,

The following checklist, arranged by geographic subject headings and dates
of situation, has been added to the Newberry Library's website: State,
Provincial, and County Atlases and County Landownership Maps of the United
States and Canada in the Newberry Library.

Includes 2,700 brief descriptions of mostly 19th and early 20th century
works.  Half of these are individual entries for the microfiche map series
published as LC G&M Division Land Ownership Maps [Washington, D.C.]:
Library of Congress, Geography and Map Division, [1983].
