LIBRARY MANAGERS ALERT!
(Please excuse cross-postings)

JOB-LINK is a job placement service being offered at the Canadian
Library Association Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada from
June 6-9, 1996. Job-Link provides an excellent opportunity for
employers to advertise upcoming positions to more than 1000
librarians expected to attend.

A booth will be set up at the conference site to publicize upcoming
positions. We are also in the process of mounting a Job-Link web page
to advertise your available positions globally.

If you will be filling positions at your library around the time of
the conference, please consider using these services. To register
your job vacancies, send your name and address to
Joyce Thomson at the address below. Registration forms and
instructions will be mailed to you. Please indicate if you will be
attending the conference in Halifax in June.

It is NOT necessary to attend the conference to advertise vacancies
through JOB-LINK. If you or your representatives do plan to attend
the conference, Job-Link will gather resumes for your consideration.
It is also possible to arrange on-site interviews.

Complete your registration by May 20 to have your posting added to
our web page. Job advertisements can be submitted after this date but
may not be posted electronically.

Please share this letter with your colleagues. Feel free to direct
any questions or queries to my address below.

Sincerely,

Joyce R. Thomson,
