Encapsulate in Mylar the map on top of each pile in drawers.
According to my experience, this is what I would do: determine which map wi=
ll
be filed on the top of the pile in each drawer, then encapsulate that map
in Mylar. The weight of the encapsulated map should be enough to maintain
the other maps flap; if not enough, encapsulate another one in the middle
of the pile (choose a badly creased one). This has worked fine here, and
it prevents creasing the maps when closing the drawer: the first one on the
top being always the most vulnerable one.
