Elizabeth Mangan recently published an article that includes a complete
comparison between MARC and the FDGC standards, which may be what you are
looking for. It is in the June 1995 issue of _Information Technology and
Libraries_, pp.99-110. Elizabeth, as she always does, put out a great
product here, which I am certain will be used by many of us catalogers for
some time to come!

Betsy Mangan of the Library of Congress wrote an article titled: The
Making of a Standard, published in Information Technology and Libraries,
June 1995, pp. 99-110, which includes a crosswalk between Content
Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (FGDC) and MARC.
