Try contacting the Syracuse State office of NRCS (formerly Soil Conservation
Service). The State Soil Scientist's name as of 6/16/95 was Tyrone Goddard or
Scott Anderson. The number listed in my directory is: 315/477-6524.
The P.O. address:
NRCS
441 South Salina St.
5th Floor, Suite 354
Syracuse, NY 13202-2450
315/477-6504
NRCS is charged with the digital generation of soils for the US. SSURGO
soils data is based on 1:24,000 full quads or 1:12,000 quarter quad formats.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jill
