I'd like to announce a new (yes, yet another...) discussion list
devoted to the subject of GIS-related programs and services in
LIBRARIES.  GISIG-L is a product of LITA's GIS Interest Group and
it is intended to facilitate useful discussion on issues and
concerns inherent in providing GIS technology in Libraries.  It
is also hoped that participants benefit from the exchange of
problem-solving tips, service strategies, ideas regarding user
and staff education, data acquisition, software selection, and
announcements for meetings, workshops, and other events.
 
Anyone involved with GIS-related services in Libraries is welcome
