     I have). It's been a while since I read their catalog and I've never
     purchased anything from this company, but I'll bet they have some for

Kathy,
Old World Mail Auctions listed a number of the old geologic atlases for sale
a year or two ago.  Less popular ones (read less populated areas) were given
a presale estimate of $50.00.  I meant to see what prices they realized but
it was another of those things I never got around to doing.  Howell's
bookshop in San Francisco listed a San Francisco atlas for over $100.00 some
years ago if I remember correctly.  I understand OWMA still have some to be
listed in future catalogues.  So, like we heard last year concerning the
older editions of the 1:62,500 topos, be aware of what you have.  Theyr'e
scarce and most could find a customer.

I was interested in this question, as well. I also wonder if
libraries have managed to keep these old items in good shape.
The paper in most of ours is disintegrating.>
