At a recent meeting, I was given information about a reprint of "The
George Washington Atlas" which is a "collection of 84 maps including 28
made by G.W., 7 used and annotated by him, 8 made at his direction or for
his use or otherwise associated with him, and 42 concerning his
activities in peace and war." This was originally published in 1932 by
the Library of Congress. This time the reprinter is: Virginia Surveyors
Foundation, Ltd., 8752 Landmark Road, Richmond, VA 23228; phone
804-262-1351. The cost is U.S.$70 for 1, $65 each for 2 to 5 copies, $60
each for 6 to 10 copies, and $55 each for 11 or more. The maps and other
documents are in two colors with each page being 18 x 13.5 in. and a
cover in royal blue with gold embossed type.
