any overlap.
The University of Delaware Library is in the final stages of weeding its
map collection of many superseded and duplicate editions of USGS 7.5 minute
topographic quadrangles received through the Federal Depository Library
Program. The maps being offered include maps from the 1940s to the 1990s.
Maps are still available for the States of Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho,
and Oklahoma to supplement the collections of map libraries. As these are
technically superseded or secondary copies, they will be recycled if no
library requests them by October 15, 1996. Due to the volume, whole states
will be offered, with preference given to libraries seeking maps of their own
states. Postage will be paid by the University of Delaware Library, with
special thanks to those libraries who have offered us early editions of
Delaware topos in the past!
Please request states by direct email to: [log in to unmask]
All requesting libraries will be notified by email as to the availability of
of requested states.
