Another question this fine Thursday, about digital aerial photos -- how many
of you have USGS digital orthophoto quarter-quads (DOQQs) or something
similar for your state or region? How do you provide access -- online,
regular circulation, interlibrary loan? Do you keep the CDs library use
only? Do you provide CD burners or copying services for your users?
We have both USGS and USFS digital orthos, and while we don't have the space
(yet!) to provide them online, we do have finding aids online so people can
request specific CDs without coming into the library. We'll also put them on
our FTP site (temporarily) if people request 6 or fewer. Any other models
out there?
Thanks.
