Subject: Wanted: map of earlier versions of Lake Erie
Sender: Bill Barrow <[log in to unmask]>
When the Terminal Tower was constructed in Cleveland in the 1920s, many
core samples were drilled to determine what foundation work would be
required. We are doing an exhibit about these samples and want to create a
map of the various lakes preceeding Lake Erie. Does anyone know of a large
color map, or GIS data set, that we could obtain to show this information?
Existing maps we've found are small, confusing, black and white
illustrations for articles and we'd like something large, clear and colorful.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill Barrow
