According to the USA publication 'Place-name changes1900-1991' compiled by
Adrian Room (Metuchen NJ; London:The Scarecrow Press, 1993), ISBN
0-8108-2600-3 - and to the earlier edition 'Place-name changes since 1900: a
world gazetteer' (1979, ISBN 0-8108-1210-X) - the name change from
Forfarshire to Angus occurred 1928.
