Subject: Job Descriptions solicited for GIS assistant in Library Settings
--Please Excuse Cross Postings---
I am looking for job descriptions that might describe what a full-time
assistant (professional level, not student or intern) would do help run
a small geospatial lab with ArcGIS and ENVI, assist with GIS data
requests and do some data processing/conversion, assisting with
reference questions that involve finding and making GIS data in a
consumable format, working with a server etc. and is very comfortable
with all things digital. I do have a rough draft, but I was hoping
someone out there has already recruited for this kind of position and
has a write-up describing qualifications, duties and responsibilities.
Would you please be willing to share it with me? Please send me the
description off-list. I would be happy to forward to other interested folks.
Happy holidays and thanks in advance, Salim
