Out of a number of tries; this thing is addictive, I got a 98% 1 mile 240
seconds ( I lucked into a initial run of border states) but I also got a 96% 3
miles 164 seconds and I can't tell which is better. How do we weight the three
scores?

Sheppard Software [http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/index.html] offers a more advanced version of the
same game, as well as many others (e.g., state capitals, int'l geography, etc.).
