The history of Cartography project, under the editorship of Mark
Monmonier is currently working on vol.6 of their opus, covering the 20th
century, in an enyclopaedic format (short pieces on a wide variety of
topics).
They have two entries for which they currently have no contributor:
-Military Mapping by Japan (maps produced by Japan's military of Japan
and elsewhere)
-Topographic Mapping in Japan (maps of Japan produced by the Japanese
and others).
If you, or someone you know, would be interested in writing either of
these entries, please contact:
