Dear Colleagues,
I am doing original cataloging for a map entitled "Kelleys' Map of
Birmingham Alabama," published by Kelley Company, Engineers. The map
folds to the size of a small booklet, with a front and back cover. The
front cover has the title, " Map of Birmingham Alabama," and
"published by Webb Book Company."
I would like to know which publisher takes precedence for the 260
field. It seems as though the Kelley Company publishes maps--period;
but the Webb Book Company went a step further and republished the map in
booklet form as described above.
Has anyone seen anything like this? I would appreciate any feedback
on it. TIA.
