Subject: Census tracts
One of our sociology faculty is doing a research project on the
sociology of religion. He has been geocoding churches he received
surveys back from. He's been using the ESRI U.S. Streets dataset for
the geocoding (seems to give them better results than Wessex's version
of the TIGER files). The problem is that they have a number of
addresses that they couldn't get matches on and wants to know the
easiest way to figure out what census tract these addresses are in.
(The addresses fall in cities/towns across the United States). So I
thought someone on this listserv might have a great suggestion on how to
approach this.
Thanks
