"Anybody know if PCGlobe Inc has gone belly-up or what may have happened?"
PC-GLOBE was purchased by Broderbund a couple of years ago. I'm surprised they
haven't maintained the old Tempe,AZ phone number.

Jim, the company that is responsible for PC-Globe has a different name and
city. They are actually now located in your state. The new name is:
Broderbund, P.O Box 6125, Novato, CA 94948-6125 or 500 Redwood Blvd.,
Novato, CA 94948-6121. (one is from the CDROM disc of "Maps N Facts" the
other address from the User's Manual for the disc. We purchased the CDROM
a few months ago using the phone number "415-382-4700.
Hope this helps. Our PC-Globe would not work in the Windows95 environment
either. However the Maps N Facts will work on both the MAC and the Pentium .
Please let us know if you discover a way to make the PC-Globe 5.0 work in
Windows95.
By the way, I know a number of librarians who went on a similar search for
the company. We don't know if the company was purchased by someone else or
simply changed their name when they relocated. They seem to have lacked
good communication and promotional skills. Our freshman really liked the
program or we would not have spent so much time trying to relocate the company.
