Free to good home.
US Army Map Service series AMS 1105 "Climate Zones" (1943-1944)
Scales vary from about 1:14 million to 1:20 million.
I have more than one duplicate copy of most sheets.
The series is divided into subseries as below. There are five subseries
by continent (I have no duplicates covering Asia). Each Continent
subseries consists of 12 sheets, one for each month of the year. Each
sheet is numbered "CZ x-y" where "x" is a numeral code for the continent
and "y" is for the month, 1=January ... 12=December
Preference given to those wanting as much of the world as possible, but
I'll send out individual continent sets if there's no demand for the
whole world.
Africa (CZ 2-) 2 complete sets or 12 maps each
Europe (CZ 6-) 1 complete set; 1 set lacks May (sheet CZ 6-5)
South America (CZ 7-) 4 sheets only: 2-4 and 11
North America (CZ 8-)
1 set with 10 sheets: 2-6, 8-12
1 set with 8 sheets: 3-5, 8-12
Australasia (Aust, NZ, New Guinea): 2 complete sets of 12 maps each
