Subject: cartifact--by far the most unique one I've seen!

Dearest Mapsters,

One of our esteemed Library Volunteers just sent me the paper wrapper from
Columbus Italian Dry Sausage, produced in South San Francisco, CA 94080.
The 8 oz. sausage is wrapped in a very nice map of Italy, probably from a
turn of the century [1900!] world atlas. The map is overlaid with the
sausage label and the nutrition facts box. And it has such a lovely aroma.
Getting fainter by the day. Now who can beat that for a cartifact?

Alice
