Subject: Further tales of MAGERT unofficial hotel

Remember this from a few minutes ago?
Well, the Hampton Inn is full! So for those who haven't booked a room, I
selected the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown as the second unofficial MAGERT
hotel for the ALA midwinter meeting in Philadelphia.

Hi folks,
Often those members of the American Library Association Maps and Geography
Round Table have managed to stay in the same hotel for the ALA conference,
making it easy to have those informal meetings and chats that draw groups
together.
This year we talked about doing that again and I picked the Hampton Inn.
So those MAPS-L / MAGERT folks who are going to the mid-winter conference in
Philadelphia may wish to stay there to meet and greet their fellow round
table members.

p.s. anyone who knows Philly well enough to recommend a cool reception
locale should send your ideas to Mary McInroy, MAGERT chair
