     I have received a request from a faculty member here at SUNY Stony
Brook for historical census data at the tract level in ArcView format.  He
is especially interested in the 1950, 1960, and 1970 censuses, particularly
for New York State,, but also for other parts of  the country.  Does anyone
know if/where such data  can be obtained?
