Subject: Indian nautical charts
We have a large stack of unprocessed nautical charts produced
by the Indian government. (These came to us through the
"PL-480" program, by which U.S. libraries receive materials from
south Asian countries, through LC.)
I would like to find a graphic index to this series of charts.
If one isn't available for purchase, I'd be interested in
getting a copy of one from another library.
The set seems to have 2 OCLC records:
2956174 245: India: [navigational charts].
21752028 245: India [navigational charts]
The series started in 1962. Most of ours date from the 80s or
90s. They are numbered with 2,3, or 4 digit numbers. A note in
the earlier OCLC record says "Subtitle from separately published
Catalogue of charts, 1973." Perhaps this catalog has a graphic
or other sort of index, but I couldn't locate a copy in OCLC or
RLIN. I've also checked the usual places to find graphic
indexes, such as GeoKatalog.
Any help is appreciated.
