I have been asked what is going on with meetings being scheduled at ALA in
the Marriott.  The Marriott Hotel is facing a strike and a possible picket
line.   I checked with Danielle Alderson, our liaison at ALA, and thought
I'd share her response.  According to Danielle, it's impossible at this late
date to reschedule all the meetings that have been scheduled at the
Marriott, so our options are pretty limited.  It's not clear whether there
will be a picket line in front of the hotel.  Some people are attending
meetings at the Marriott but not eating at the hotel.
