May be of interest to some on the list. This came to me via a Google
Alert. It is for a two-year appointment in the Royal Library at Windsor
Castle.

"The Royal Collection is one of the largest and most important art
collections in the world, spread among some thirteen Royal residences
and former residences across the UK. The Print Room is part of the Royal
Library section of the Royal Collection and is responsible for the works
of art on paper, including drawings, watercolours and prints, housed
within the Royal Library at Windsor Castle and hanging throughout the
royal residences.
An important part of the Print Rooms holdings is the Kings Military
collection of maps, begun by William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, and
added to by George III after the Dukes death in 1765. The collection
comprises about 4,000 items, both manuscript and printed, dating from
the sixteenth to the early nineteenth century. The Kings Military
collection will be published in 2014 as an online catalogue raisonné,
which will be publicly accessible through the Royal Collections website.
We are currently seeking to recruit a project assistant, based at
Windsor Castle, who will be responsible for creating electronic records
(including photographic material) within the Royal Collections general
database. These records will be based on pre-existing detailed catalogue
entries."
