In an almost simultaneous event oddly related to William Wages'
presentation, actress-turned-poet Laure-Anne Bosselaar will read from
her work on Thursday, 29 January, at 4:00 p.m. in room 261 of Park Hall
(the English department library). After a notable career in European
film and television, bosselaar emigrated to the United States and turned
her attention to writing and editing. She has published several
collections of her own poems and has edited (and coedited with her
husband Kurt Brown) several anthologies of poetry, fiction, and
nonfiction.
If your mind runs more to words than to images, or at least is doing so
on Thursday, please join us.
Laure-Anne Bosselaar's visit is sponsored by The Georgia Poetry Circuit,
a consortium of universities and colleges across the state.
