Dear ICE Colleagues:
Ben Davis will be on campus on Monday May 7-8th. BenŐs career spans 25
years. He is an accomplished artist, teacher, theorist, research
scientist in the realm of electronic publications and new media,
research, culture, gaming, film and web design development. BenŐs
career includes research, strategic development, and teaching
positions at Razorfish, the Getty Museum, Los Angeles, MIT Center for
Advanced Visual Studies and the MIT Media-Lab, Smithsonian. He was
head of electronic arts from 1975-1986 at the Atlanta College of Art.
He has consulted for many museums including National Air and Space
Museum, Washington, DC and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. See his

I would like to invite you to meet Ben Davis on May 7th at 1:3O PM in
my office ( 100 B visual arts building.) This will be an informal
session and an opportunity to meet Ben in person. Jennifer Messer,
Director of Development for ICE will also be touring Ben around campus
Tuesday morning. If you have a specific interest in having him come
through your area let me know and I will try to arrange it with
Jennifer if time allows.
