 UGA's Technology Expo 2002 begins tomorrow (Monday, Nov. 11) at the Georgia
Center.


Drama professor David Saltz will present "A Live Performance Simulation
System: Virtual Vaudeville "
2:00-3:00 Room T-U

I (Pam Taylor, art education) will present  "Exploring our Virtual
Existence"
3:00-4:00 Room J-S

All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend UGA's Technology Expo
2002 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education on Monday, November 11
and Tuesday, November 12. Faculty and staff from other institutions of
higher education in Georgia are welcome, too.

The Expo begins in Masters Hall at 11:15 am on Monday with a keynote
presentation

    "Designing for Learning: How Do Technologies Change the Work
     of Faculty Teaching, Student Learning, and Staff Support"
                                      by
                          Dr. Judith Boettcher
               CREN Executive Director and TechTalk host

UGA faculty and staff presentations are scheduled on Monday from 1:00 pm -
4:00 pm in Rooms J-S, T-U, and R.  Vendor exhibits will be located in Rooms
K/L.  Presentations and exhibits will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 am -
4:00 pm. There are a total of 28 presentations on a variety of topics
related to Expo's theme.

The complete Expo schedule is available from the "Presentations" link on the
Technology Expo homepage at http://www.techexpo.uga.edu  The Expo is free,
and no registration is required.

Please share this information with your colleagues.  We hope to see you at
the Expo.
