Ideas for Creative Exploration (ICE) seeks proposals for grants to be initiated during the 2007-
2008 academic year. Proposals will be considered in three categories: project grants ($500-
$5,000), seed grants for project development (up to $2,500), and assistance with external grant
proposal development (up to $2,500).

2. Volunteers sought for the second AUX event - a festival of experimental art, music, and
performance. Event curator Heather McIntosh says, "We need help with everything from doing the
door, to helping with loading, to sound, food prep, and extra electronic sound contributors."

interactivity, automation & media in installation

Thomas Street Sculpture Complex, Room 101

Introduction to computer-based interactivity, automation, and media in installation. Projects
incorporate light, video, sound, sensors, and kinetic elements. Students make work involving
interactivity and automation, and explore concepts of 4D design. Studio, critique, discussion.
